INTIMACIES ACROSS ASIA: CALL FOR PAPERS This one-day workshop is organized by the Sussex Asia Centre and will be held in the School of Global Studies (University of Sussex) on November 12th, 2015. Key note speakers: Professor Brenda Yeoh (National University of Singapore) and Dr Jieyu Liu (SOAS, University of London) If you are interested in participating in this workshop, please submit an abstract of maximum 300 words. The authors of accepted manuscripts will be invited to present their work (20 minutes followed by 10 minutes discussion for each paper). The papers will be pre-circulated three weeks before the workshop. We aim to have all works published in an edited volume – subject to the quality of pre-circulated papers and the availability of authors to contribute to such volume. Deadline for the abstracts: 10 September 2015. (Please note that we cannot provide funding for costs etc so this would have to be sought from your own institution).
