Dear Alex,
This is information from a case we had in 2006. This lab may be able to help. This lab does the gene studies.

Subject: Surfactant B and D analysis.
Dear Mailbase,
Does anyone know of a lab that can measure Surfactant B and D to aid in the diagnosis of pulmonary alveolar proteinosis?
Or any other diagnostic tests that may be available to aid in diagnosis of this condition.
Thanks
Alex
