I am pleased to announce the public release of the 'Space Syntax
Toolkit' for QGIS, now available for installation from QGIS'
'Plugins manager'.
The 'Space Syntax Toolkit' provides a front-end for the depthmapX
software in a GIS environment and offers user friendly space syntax
analysis workflows. It's primarily aimed at supporting 'standard'
axial and segment analyses. Nevertheless, the added functionality
can be of general benefit to QGIS users by introducing simple tools
for exploratory spatial data analysis.
The 'Space Syntax Toolkit' is an open source project funded by the
Space Syntax Laboratory at UCL, and developed in close connection
with the open source depthmapX software. It will continue being
developed in the future, and the contribution of the space syntax
community – with feedback, suggestions, fixes or new modules – is
most welcome.
