Having been to Eduserv Maths and Stats group yesterday I was made aware of Maple Cloud (see http://maplecloud.maplesoft.com/ ) which has a number of apps developed by users of Maple and made public. If you institution has a Maplesoft licence (those with Mathematics Departments tend to) then you might well be able to create apps in Maple and publish them to the Maple Cloud so that they are only available to specific students.

Dear all,

In September, we will be providing all of our first year students at UEL with Samsung tablets when they start. With this in mind, I would be interested hearing about any apps that are used to support students in Maths and/ or apps that support the development of subject specific Maths skills. If you would like to respond to me, I'm happy to collate responses and share with the list.

Thanks in advance & best wishes,

Andrea
