Brian Harris has just received the attached photograph, taken in 1937, of a painting class outside the bungalow in Bombay where the Kiplings lived until they moved to Lahore in 1875.  It was taken by Bert Scott, a photographer on the Times of India, and sent by his grandson. It was presumably still being used by the Sir Jamsetjee Jeejeebhoy School of Art at that time.
Does anyone have any thoughts about the photograph, any knowledge of the activities of the School at that time, or about the bungalow itself ?
Good wishes to all
