Re: [OCC-HEALTH] Progress on the FOHN development group This is such good news, Karen. I know how much time commitment will be  required to keep the momentum going and to see the FOHN become a reality.

Hi List
As you are aware there has been work going on in the last eight months on the development of a Faculty of Occupational Health Nursing. I am really pleased to tell you that the team leading the work of the Faculty of Occupational Health Nursing has now been confirmed and are as follows:
•        Jo Berriman – Project Leader
•        Karen Coomer – Deputy Leader (also representative of the Society of Occupational Medicine).
•        Dwayne Gillane – Treasurer.
•        Christina Butterworth – Member (also representative of the Council for Work and Health).
•        Susanna Everton – Member (also representative of AOHNP).
•        Jane Fairburn – Member.

Our  next priority will be to confirm appointments to the  Faculty Consulting Group and approach a number of practitioners who have been selected to act as Specialist Advisers. The procedure for doing this has been agreed and we will update you again once completed. A website will be up and running by September 2015 which will provide information on our vision and purpose, regular progress with the project and more information on who we all are. There will also be news items on our vision, mission and values in the OH press so look out for the August editions!

Regards
Karen
