Hi Jo

I  will not take on the role of a first aider if I have not had any training or feel competent. However, if you know what to do to help a casualty in an emergency the "good samaritan" rule may apply as long as you do no harm.
If you have had training  and need refresher look online you may find suitable course that will bring you uptodate.

Good evening
Could someone tell me or advise on who I should contact regarding where OH nurses stand regarding First Aid. I will be going on a trip and  have been asked to provide first aid if required. As a qualified OH nurse do I need to go on an official first aid course or will my OH qualification be sufficient?
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards
Jo
