Dear Colleagues & Friends

Has anyone had experience of a referral for an a sedentary worker employee with Primary lateral sclerosis?  The employee has had the condition for 20 years and is managing her workload very well

This has come into my box today and I have had a prior conversation with the person today and apart from the usual chair/desk/computer etc recommendations.  Can you make any suggestions which I would need to consider for this case.

Access to work are involved in providing taxis, the employee also uses the tube system here in London, lives alone and is independent.  The speech is slightly impaired and her walking is very poor, though the employee is can mobilise without the need for a frame/wheelchair.

I am familiar with the condition from my hospital days, just need advice on appropriate recommendations.

Can you please email me your replies directly so not to fill up everyone’s inboxes.

Many thanks.
