Hi Jo I will not take on the role of a first aider if I have not had any training or feel competent. However, if you know what to do to help a casualty in an emergency the "good samaritan" rule may apply as long as you do no harm. If you have had training and need refresher look online you may find suitable course that will bring you uptodate. .
