Dear all
We are looking for an enthusiastic research midwife to provide research support to the multi-centre ‘REACH Pregnancy Programme’ that seeks to improve access to, and enhance the value and experience of, antenatal care for socially disadvantaged and ethnically
diverse communities in North/East London.
One key aspect of the role will be working alongside maternity services staff to develop “Pregnancy Circles” (group-based ANC), that will be tailored to the unique needs
of the women with whom we work. Besides having some sort of research experience, the ideal candidate will be able to motivate, inspire, liaise, listen and support, as the work involves empowering women and midwives. A high level of team work will be essential,
and in return there are many learning and skills (career) building opportunities as well as the potential to be inspired as you share this exciting journey.
Barts Health NHS Trust is the host Trust for the programme, with the University of East London in partnership with City University, QMUL and UCL. The post is part-time
(0.5FTE) for almost five years.
Please feel free to circulate.
For enquiries, please contact Inderjeet Kaur (as listed in advertisement) Angela or myself – contact details below.
