Good point Liam.

So in short, guidance on using IE seems the most sensible route at this point in time.

Thanks Alison. Probably adding a bookmarklet in the way that the article describes would be too much for many users so pointing them to IE (or another browser) might be a better option.

Worth also noting that on some Win10 installations Internet Explorer might not appear on the "All Apps" menu. You can get to it by typing "Internet Explorer" in the bottom left search bar or by opening the drop down menu in Edge and selecting "Open with Internet Explorer". One IE is open you can right click and select "pin this program to the taskbar" to create a shortcut that is easy to get to.

Hi Liam

A quick google has identified an article that might provide some guidance:

http://www.itworld.com/article/2954526/personal-technology/how-to-manually-install-bookmarklets-in-microsoft-edge.html

I have spoken to the technical team, who have pointed out that Windows 10 does still enable you to use IE, so this would be our guidance as it is a browser that we support (what Talis Aspire is optimised to work with is summarised in the article below):

Kind Regards

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else has tried out Aspire with the new Edge browser in Windows 10? Looks like it works but Edge does not support bookmarklets. Is anyone issuing advice around the use of this new browser?

Thanks

Liam
