The event on Saturday celebrates an outstanding individual
whose contribution to the medical profession was not given the
credit it deserved. This Caribbean neurologist had one of the largest private practices
in London in the early part of the 20th century.
Windrush Foundation hosts an event that will also feature
a grand-nephew of the daughter of Dr Russell, and a presentation that will discuss
his daughter’s outstanding show business career. She died in 1997, aged 104.
