Please see the NHS jobs website for a Band 7 Clinical Scientist vacancy based in the Clinical Chemistry and Newborn Screening laboratory at Sheffield Children's Hospital.   [ 425-399-15 - Clinical Scientist ].
 
The post is initially for a year (to assist with maternity cover) with the possibility of it being extended or made permanent.  The appointee must have, or be working towards, registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a ‘Clinical Scientist’ in biochemistry. Applications from Clinical Scientists/ STPs who are nearing completion of their training and State Registration are therefore welcomed.
 
The laboratory is based at the Sheffield Children’s Hospital The Trust is only one of four specialist NHS Trusts in England providing care exclusively to children and young people. The hospital is located close to the vibrant city centre which is home to several theatres. Sheffield also offers easy access to the Peak District National Park
