Hi all. This is a reminder that the deadline for submission of abstracts to speak at this year’s British Sociological Association PG Sport Forum, hosted at Edge Hill University in Lancashire, is 19th June. This one-day forum, which is free to attend and includes a free lunch, aims to develop a postgraduate research community within sport and the social sciences and features theoretically informed papers from PG research students working in social science of sport, physical education, coaching, anthropology, pedagogy or related disciplines in the social sciences and humanities. The forum is a very friendly environment in which social science of sport PG research students at all stages of study can practice their presentation skills, learn and share ideas about their work and network with other PGRs. The event takes place on Friday 4th September 2015 from 9am – 5pm in the Business School (room B001). Delegates DO NOT have to be members of the BSA.
