Wynand JvdM Steyn, Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, is the incoming Chairman. He succeeds Brian Ferne, Chief Technical Advisor for Pavement Engineering and Honorary Chief Scientist in the Infrastructure Division of TRL Limited, United Kingdom. The current Steering Committee, which will conclude its tenure in June, is thanked for steering the DAWG through a course of steady growth. The incoming committee, composed of veterans and newcomers, is welcomed and thanked for accepting the challenge to continue this record of success.
