Friends, May I suggest that there is no need to use “was” headers for what is effectively a new thread? This clutters up the list archive and makes following threads more difficult. Taking a specific subsidiary idea from an earlier thread may be the occasion of a new thread. When it is, the best thing to do is simply to start a new thread. It is courteous to acknowledge that the idea occurred within the earlier thread. The subject header (thread title) should cover the actual topic of the thread. My two cents.
