Salary range: Lecturer A: starting at £34,233 and rising to £37,394 per annum
                       Lecturer B: starting at £38,511 and rising to £45,954 per annum

Description

The School of Engineering and Informatics wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Product Design to join the School's new Creative Technology Group. Applicants for this position will have a research record in an appropriate field within the Creative Technology area that complements research activities within the School; and will be expected to teach at undergraduate level and to help to develop new postgraduate courses in the areas of Product Design and Creative Technology.

This appointment is part of a programme of continuing investment in the School which, in addition to this post, has seen the appointment of 14 academic staff with another 11 academic and two technician posts to be advertised. In the past three years, the School has made a major investment in people and equipment, including the recent acquisition of £10M for a new CREaM Centre encompassing Computing, Robotics, Electronics and Mechatronics, making Sussex an exciting place for engineers and designers.
