Hello everyone! I have a prospective client who provides - not to put too fancy a gloss on it - home help and non-clinical support in people's homes. After studying the Green Book and trawling the Internet to no avail, I want to confirm: are there no imms and vaccs requirements for such workers as there is within the NHS or care homes? It is obviously recommended that the owner risk assess them but I cannot really see any need to take an imms and vaccs history as I would for employees involved in direct clinical care of patients. The client has requested pre-placement health checks so any advice would be much appreciated.
