Pollutants – How it affects you and your collections Bodelwyddan Castle 23rd June 2015 Bedwellty House and Park 25th June 2015 This free course is provided by the Welsh Government and is open to staff and volunteers working in museums, archives and libraries in Wales. It is suitable for those responsible for the care and management of collections. Aim To identify the causes and effects of pollutant gases and dusts, how to monitor them, assess the risks and control exposure. By the end of the course participants will be able to Identify potential hazardous pollutants, assess the risks and put in place measures to reduce both hazards and risks. Training Methods By PowerPoint presentations and practical illustrations.
