Cambridge Workshop on Innovative Methods of Evaluating Public Engagement

This practically-oriented workshop will present state of the art interdisciplinary methods of evaluating engagement. It will provide the opportunity for input from leading interdisciplinary research methods experts on your project through open discussions and feedback sessions. Speakers will address idiographic methods, new technologies of social research and new methodological frameworks for analyzing data.

Workshop participants will also be invited to bring your own practical challenges to discuss and find solutions, so you can receive personalized feedback and advice from the workshop facilitators.

The workshop will include information on how to apply new methodological frameworks and analytic approaches to your evaluation data and how to generalize from detailed analysis of individual cases. You will also hear about the latest developments in technology-enhanced evaluation.

Speakers:
World-leading experts in social scientific research methodology will be presenting at and facilitating the event: Professor Brady Wagoner (Psychology, University of Aalborg) and Dr Eric Jensen (Sociology, University of Warwick). In addition, leading practitioner Nicola Buckley will be contributing her perspective on innovation in public engagement evaluation as Head of Public Engagement at the University of Cambridge.
