Dear colleagues

The Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds is hosting a one-day conference on 17 November on ‘New Approaches to Adult Learning in the Cultural Sector’. The conference is part of a Grundtvig programme we have been working on with partners in Spain, Italy, Poland, Cyprus and Slovenia. The conference will coincide with an exhibition at the museum, “Lest We Forget?”, written by a group of adult learners who have been working with the Royal Armouries on a project to research hidden histories of the First World War. 

We are inviting proposals from individuals and organisations to present a workshop or case study at the conference. Please see the attached call for papers and contact me if you have any queries.  If you’re interested in attending, please save the date and look out for the conference programme which we aim to circulate by the end of July.
