It’s terrifying, it just looks like a normal watch!! However at the touch of a button he can access e-mail and the internet and instantly make the screen go blank again – what a nightmare. It can even be set up to display a specific document at a specific time. Has anyone put anything in place to try to counter this, for example, we are now considering making everyone take their watch off before entering the exam room – can we even do that? We are also thinking about knocking up a poster showing we are looking out for these gadgets to put up outside our exam rooms. Any thoughts or comments on this would be most welcome.
