Apologies for cross-posting, as always There is an opening for a postdoc to work with an ESPA-funded project on multidimensional poverty and ecosystem services - the project is a collaboration between the Department of Geography at Cambridge, the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Inititiative (OPHI) and UNEP WCMC. The project aims to look at ecosystem services as a possible new metric within multi-dimensional poverty-related analyses, and tracking of the achievements of the proposed Sustainable Development Goals. The specific focus is OPHI's Multidimensional Poverty Index, and the candidate will require strong quantitative skills and an analytical grounding in relevant literatures (linkages between environment & poverty, in particular) to explore the ways in which these methodologies can be expanded to include a focus on the environment. Further details are available here: http://www.unep-wcmc.org/vacancies/poverty-and-ecosystem-services-postdoctoral-researcher-ad897 I'd be happy to field informal enquiries. Please circulate to interested candidates. Best wishes.
