A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Filippo Mancia in the Department of Physiology and Cellular Biophysics at Columbia University in New York, USA. The labs primary interest is in unraveling the structure and function of eukaryotic and prokaryotic membrane proteins, with a focus on membrane embedded enzymes involved in lipid metabolism. The ideal candidate should have a PhD in structural biology and extensive experience in all aspects of protein X-ray crystallography or electron microscopy, including protein expression and purification, crystallization, structure determination and refinement. Experience with protein expression in insect or mammalian cells is a plus.

Interested candidates should send their CV, brief description of prior research accomplishments and contact information for three references to: [log in to unmask]
