There are a few places left on the training workshop on ‘Collecting in tough times’ on Monday 8 June 2015. Book now via The National Archives’ website.
The aim of the day is to explore how archive services can address the challenges of proactively collecting in context of shrinking resources.
In today’s challenging financial environment, many archive services are trying new ways of developing and advocating for their collections. This workshop will provide an opportunity to explore imaginative solutions to difficult problems.
The format will be interactive and practical, with participants working together to discuss new ideas and share what has worked well or not well for them. Frank and open discussion will be encouraged, and Chatham House rules will apply.
