Project Archivist - 12 month fixed term appointment

Manx National Heritage is recruiting a project archivist to deliver online, fonds-level access to selected manuscript archives of the Isle of Man. The position is a fixed term 12 month contract providing an ideal opportunity to deliver this significant digital access project.

Based in Douglas, Isle of Man, working with the Island’s national archives and MimsyXG (Axiell) and Knowledge Integration software, you will research, manage and promote a wide array of historical records for first-time release through our online portal www.imuseum.im and UK Archives Hub www.archiveshub.ac.uk.

 

Enthusiasm, proven ability and excellent written skills are essential.

Salary, dependent on experience: £22,839 - 25,113
