Hi Linda,
As the name might suggest, The Microscope Store (http://www.microscope.com/) has very inexpensive microscopes. Not the highest quality, but very good for the field.

Good morning-

Does anyone have a recommendation for a solid stereomicroscope that can be used in a field lab for sorting macros and identifying wood charcoal? If you have had an experience with something that did not work, I would like to hear about that experience as well.

Thank you!
