Death of ASA member, Rosemary Harris, on 31 March
A great classic anthropologist, Rosemary made very important contributions to widening the scope of British anthropology.  She was a senior member of the Commission on Urban Anthropology, and contributed substantially to its development.  A commemorative section dedicated to Rosemary (1930-2015) was published in the May issue of the journal Urbanities (Vol 5, No 1, May 2015) and is available at: www.anthrojournal-urbanities.com/table-of-content8.html

ASA2016 - dates for your diaries
The 2016 conference, Footprints and futures: the time of anthropology, will take place in Durham from 4 to 7 July next year.  More information will be included in the newsletter once the call for panels opens in the autumn.
