Principal Bioinformatics Scientist Permanent, Full time Partial Home Working Offered Excellent Salary+Benefits Paramount is currently working in collaboration with the Director of a growing pharmaceutical Bioinformatics team and, due to successful project deliveries, the company are making further investments into the group and have released a new role for a talented Principal Bioinformatics Scientist on a permanent contract. The team work on a range of therapy projects, and you will be providing leadership to new target identification, biomarker discovery and patient stratification through the application of computational and mathematical analyses across a wide range of data types to address translational challenges. In this role you will play a crucial role in understanding the challenges, designing appropriate studies and data analysis strategy to drive decision making in the Translational group. Suitable candidates should have experience extensive pharmaceutical or research experience in the area of biomarker/drug discovery. Additionally, we will require a background analysing different omic data types, ability to design and apply bioinformatics techniques to complex questions, understanding of statistics and data mining and eligibility to work in the UK.
