Reporting to the Senior Quantitative Analyst and working alongside the Managed Trading Services department, the Data Scientist will be responsible for cleansing, visualising, analysing and interpreting data in order to create automated trading algorithms based on the betting volume and liability of our clients. 

Key Responsibilities:
•	Create automated trading algorithms to manage risk 
•	Cleanse data and apply methods to identify and interpret data patterns
•	Apply cluster analysis based on betting behaviour
•	Document the process followed and report to the quant-team on work-flow
•	Research new computational methods for future applications
•	Collaborate closely with product developers/managers to move projects from idea to implementation
•	Communicate with clients the key elements that govern the analysis

Professional Requirements:
•	A postgraduate qualification (minimum 60%) in Computational/Financial Mathematics or a closely related field with a strong quantitative component
•	Experience in Algorithmic Trading and Financial Modelling techniques
•	Programming (R, Matlab/Octave etc) and Excel skills
•	Advanced Object-oriented programming skills in Java, C++ or Python etc.

Desirable Requirements: 
•	Experience with Data Mining and Machine Learning techniques for solving clustering and classification problems
•	Good understanding of the betting industry
•	Experience in Database Management Systems

Personal Requirements:
•	Fluent in English (written and spoken), another European language will be considered as a plus
•	Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
•	General technical understanding and high interest in technical solutions
•	Creative thinking, keen to further refine systems and processes
•	Highly self-motivated, leading by example and enthusiasm
•	Being a team player, with the ability to work with new teams immediately
•	Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities as well as product environments and able to work to tight deadlines
