Dear zooarchaeologists, I have a question on behalf of a collegue of mine at the University of Aberdeen working with musical instruments made of bone, horn and/or antler. She is looking for references regarding preservation of bone, horn and antler. In particular, how the preservation of horns differ from antler and bone. All suggestions are welcome!
