Ah yes, I realised that when I completed it myself!

Hi Nick,

the survey is referring to the participants of the OER-DISCUSS group. In this phase, I wouldn't disseminate it via social media. Thanks a lot.

Thanks Konstantinos – are you happy for this to be further disseminated via social media?

Dear participants of the OER-DISCUSS group,

My name is Konstantinos Michos. I am a primary school teacher and have been following the discussions for some time now and have admired the engagement and ethos of the members. I am personally interested in the role of trust for learning through online discussions and I am doing some research on the topic as part of a Master’s degree. I would like to invite you to participate in a short survey on trust in this group by answering a very short questionnaire. It will not take more than two minutes of your time and can help me a lot.

The data will be completely anonymous and will be used only for the purpose of my master thesis and possible scientific publications. All privacy and ethical criteria will be fulfilled and checked by the university official. I would also be more than happy to share the results with the group and discuss them with you. This is the link to the online survey.

Here is some more information on me and the Master’s thesis. Me and my supervisor, prof. Weinberger, would be happy to answer any further questions and provide any information that any of you might be interested in. I completed my qualification in primary school education in 2012 with distinction and won a scholarship  for the Master’s degree in Educational Technology at Saarland University, Germany: http://edutech.uni-saarland.de/   The survey is part of my Master’s thesis with the title “Understanding the impact of trust in collaborative knowledge building communities”. I aim at evaluating trust and the information sharing behavior of online communities. The questionnaire asks your opinion on the OER-DISCUSS e-mail group.

I thank you in advance for taking the two minutes to answer the survey and apologize in case you perceive this posting as irrelevant.
