With apologies for cross posting.

The University of East Anglia has been something of a popular cultural hub as of late; last year Joss Whedon brought his Avengers here to film, this past weekend has seen Radio 1's Big Weekend take place, and now - as all good things come in threes - the UEA's Interdisciplinary Institute for the Humanities is hosting the 2015 Fan Studies Network Conference!

Taking place across 27-28th June, the deadline for registrations is fast approaching - you have until Sunday 31st May to book your place at the event.

We have a really packed programme in store, including keynotes from Suzanne Scott and Lincoln Geraghty, a workshop discussing the role of ethics in fan studies research, over 40 speakers from across the globe, and a pub quiz featuring many excellent prizes! The programme is available to view here: https://fanstudies.files.wordpress.com/2015/05/fsn2015-programme-final-draft1.pdf

You can register here for £85 (waged)/£50 (unwaged): https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/fan-studies-network-2015-conference-tickets-16247112551

Feel free to fire any questions over, or talk about the event on Twitter using #fsn2015

Hope to see you there!
