Peter Jachimiak, of the University of South Wales (Cardiff Campus), has an article out on the just re-launched "ZANI: Online Optimism for the New Beat Generation" website. Entitled 'Return to Hostile Street - Dave Waller, The Jam, and the Poetics of the New Wave (Part One of Two)', it is a timely piece, of course, as not only does Paul Weller release his new album, "Saturns Patterns", this coming Monday, but Birmingham City University has recently put out a call for papers to do with their forthcoming "In Praise of Paul Weller...?" symposium.
