Today, UKeiG has published the call for nominations for the prestigious Tony
Kent Strix Award, given in recognition of outstanding practical innovations
or achievements in the field of information retrieval in its widest sense.
The nomination could highlight achievements in an application or service, or
an overall appreciation of past works from which significant advances have
emanated. Nominations should reach UKeiG no later than Friday August 28th -
full details of where to send your nomination and of the information which
you should include in the nomination are given in the full call, which call
