The College of Arts, Humanities and Law is pleased to offer three International Excellence Awards for September 2015 entry to its Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes.
The College of Arts, Humanities, and Law contains some of the leading research departments in the UK. In the recent UK Research Excellent Framework exercise, six of the College’s Schools/Departments achieved top 20 rankings in Guardian and/or THE leagues tables
The three International Excellence Awards are available to outstanding international applicants looking to pursue doctoral research in one of the College's Schools/Departments:
Each award is worth £3,000 payable as a fee discount annually for up to 3 years. The awards will be made to the three strongest applicants based on assessment of the strength of the applicant's research proposal, their academic record to date, and their supporting references.
The awards are open to international applicants looking to start their research degree in September 2015.
