They'd almost certainly do better to buy in the vaccine and mark it up appropriately. If the vaccine is not available on the NHS to that patient then writing a private prescription for it to that patient is not a breach. The strictures on providing a mixture of paid for and NHS funded services I think cannot now be maintained as they are, since pharmacies and alternative providers can sell you toothpaste and cable TV while doing NHS care at NHS expense.
