Does anyone have any contacts for good marketing / brand development agencies or consultants – who work in the heritage on a relatively small scale (especially in Greater Malvern / Midlands area)? The Route to the Hills Partnership has recently secured a grant of £482,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund for an exciting project to make the special parts of Malvern more obvious to everyone and to help invigorate tourism and the local economy. The project aims to develop a heritage ‘route’ that will help tell the stories of the town in an accessible way and stimulate people’s understanding and appreciation of Malvern’s outstanding natural, built and cultural heritage. The project will see the installation of informative plaques, benches, signs and commissioned artwork to highlight the remarkable stories, buildings or views which might otherwise be too easily missed. An agency/consultant is needed to help develop the brand and identity that pulls the disparate strands of the project together.
