Dear Colleagues, The UK EQUATOR Centre, part of the internationally recognised EQUATOR Network (http://www.equator-network.org/) is launching the first of a series of unique, practical courses aimed at improving research publications for the benefit of all users of research findings. Our week-long course is aimed at both new and more experienced health researchers wishing to build the *practical skills and confidence* to achieve *success in writing, publishing and disseminating their research* through traditional journals, and other media channels. The experienced tutors will help you to develop a clear, efficient writing style while presenting your research accurately and in sufficient details to achieve its maximum impact. *Who is it for?* The course is tailored to the needs of researchers working in health related discipline. It is suitable for anyone who needs to write scientific papers and reports. The course is suitable for young or more experienced participants with a wide range of backgrounds. *Objectives* The course will feature lectures, discussions and many practical sessions.
