Situating Chinese in a dialogue with the world, this workshop explores the
mobility and assemblage of cultural/creative city policies and practices.
This is also a dialogue between the Political Economic and Post-Colonial
approaches on the political tensions and social dynamics that have arisen
from Chinese cities’ attempt of becoming global.
