This workshop follows the CARME 2015 conference in Naples ( http://www.carme-n.org/carme2015/), with speakers Trevor Hastie (USA), Michael Greenacre (Spain), Alfonso Iodice d'Enza (Italy) [with Angelos Markos(Greece)] and Pieter Kroonenberg (The Netherlands). The workshop covers the classic applications of the SVD as well as recent work in the field of Data Science.
