Senior Statistical Programmer – 12 month Contract
Paramount Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Senior Statistical Programmer for a global pharmaceutical company based in Germany. The current project will be running for 12 months, with the high possibility for extension following this.
The Senior Statistical Programmer will be required on site at least 4 days a week for the first 2 months, and more home/office flexibility can be offered after this time.
As a Contract Senior SAS Programmer you will be part of a cross-functional team and will be responsible for preparing and performing the anonymisation of clinical data for data sharing.
Additional Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate programming activities across several trials with a given compound including publication and regulatory submission activities.
• Develop programming specifications for analysis datasets, pooled datasets and deliverables in consultation with the statistician.
• Develop and comply with project/study programming standards and specifications following internal guidelines
• Program according to specifications, analysis datasets, pooled datasets, listings, and figures for clinical trials and submission activities
• Support quality control and quality audit of deliverables
• Provide input as required at all meetings, discussions and activities covering aspects of Statistical Reporting on trial level activities
• Track clinical trial milestones for statistical reporting deliverables.
• Maintain records for all assigned projects and archiving of trial/project analysis and associated documentation.
• Maintain efficient interfaces with internal and external customers and communicate effectively across line functions.
Required Skills:
• Educated to BSc/MSc level in Statistics o other related area
• Extensive SAS programming, data management or statistics experience in clinical trials
• Ability to program from scratch and also in working with as well as developing macros
• At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Clear and effective communicator (e.g. reports, data presentations and meetings)
• Knowledge of clinical databases
• Experience in the area of (clinical) data anonymisation is a major plus
