ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR/ DIRECTOR BIOSTATISTICS

Key Responsibilities:

 

·         Lead the Biometrics contribution and Statistical Design

·         Lead strategic capability/ business area improvements within respiratory therapy area

·         Play a key role formulating the go/no decisions and the end of Phase II

·         Planning, product development, strategies, ensuring effective design and delivery of studies and submissions, interpretation and communication of results

·         Key role in formulating go/no decisions at the end of Phase II , planning product

·         Lead and manage and develop a group of high experienced and high calibre statisticians

·         development, strategies, modelling simulation, risk analysis,

·         Highly experienced strategic input, statistical expertise and leadership to project teams in the design and interpretation of clinical studies and programmes of studies.

·         Lead the strategic and operation of the statistical and programming contributions to the developments plan, regulatory strategy and submissions, Health Technology Assessment and Commercial support of branded products

·         Strong collaboration with external partners and support value demonstration and commercialisation of product incl. health technology assessment (HTA) and global publication team

·         Leadership to statistical and programming staff on the product world-wide so that all work is carried out with regards to required standards and external regulations

·         Developing design options and providing high quality decision support

·         Quantifying the benefit, risk value and uncertainty of the emerging product profile

·         Setting the standards (and enforcing compliance) for statistical work within the product

·         Holding CRO/Partners accountable for the high quality standards of their deliverables

·         Investigate and implement statistical approaches, for relevant statistical issues and/or regulatory guidance and/or value demonstration.

·         Maintains understanding and awareness on new methodologies, therapy area and Development initiatives

·         Provide leadership and direction to improvement projects/activities/initiatives and drive the implementation of best practice across the group.

 

Key Requirements:

 

·         PhD or MSc in statistics, medical Statistics, mathematics

·         Must have industry experience

·         In depth knowledge of the therapeutic area and statistical methodology and regulatory requirements related to the role

·         Extensive experience in development, programme design, data analysis and interpretation

·         Experience of regulatory interactions and/ or submissions
