POST-DOCTORAL FELLOW in Neuroimaging, Individual Differences and Executive Function

The Institute of Behavioral Genetics at the University of Colorado Boulder has a position for a 2-3 year post-doctoral fellowship related to an NIMH-funded project examining the neurobiological bases of individual differences in executive function.  This unique study is examining a large cohort of twin pairs, who have been followed extensively from childhood through young adulthood with regards to both cognitive and behavioral phenotypes.  The post-doctoral fellow on this project will be responsible for overseeing the collection and analysis of the neuroimaging data as well as working on written and oral reports of the study findings.  Requirements for the position include a Ph.D. in Psychology, Neuroscience, or allied field, as well as expertise in either functional and/or anatomical neuroimaging, with a record of publication.  Preferred skills are experience in collection/analysis of large-scale neuroimaging samples, high degree of fluency in computer programming (Unix, Linux, MATLAB, Python, etc.), and good communication skills, both oral and written.  The successful candidate will have the opportunity for additional training in Behavioral Genetics as well as Neuroimaging, and will be co-supervised by Prof. Naomi Friedman and Prof. Marie Banich.
