How can we use student feedback to improve learning and teaching?

On the 4 June the HEA will hold its annual Surveys for Enhancement Conference in central London. It will bring together research and practice in the development and use of student surveys. Delegates will get a chance to hear from international and national experts, and learn how institutions in the UK are making the most of student feedback.

The conference will also mark the launch of the report of the 2015 Student Academic Experience Survey, run in partnership with the Higher Education Policy Institute (HEPI). The first part of the conference will be a joint event with HEPI, and will feature a presentation on the survey findings and a keynote from a key figure in UK higher education.

The HEA are currently inviting submissions for the conference, on the theme of "How surveys make a difference". We would welcome proposals for presentations or workshops on any relevant topic. To submit a proposal, please send an abstract of 100 words and a summary of no more than 500 words to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> The deadline for proposals is Thursday 7 May.

Location: Royal Institute of British Architects, 66 Portland Place, London W1B 1AD
Cost: £100
