Subject: [PSCI-COM] Science in Public 2015 draft programme & registration
Please see below for an announcement on behalf of this year's Science in Public conference team. The draft programme is now online and is looking good!
best,
Angela Cassidy
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Registration is now open for this year's Science in Public meeting. The conference, with the theme “Science in Public: research, practice, impact” will be hosted by the Science Communication Unit at the University of the West of England, Bristol, on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th July 2015.
The conference offers a broad platform for discussion and debate across disciplinary boundaries about all aspects of science in the public sphere. We are delighted to announce our keynote speaker will be Professor Maja Horst of the Department of Media, Cognition and Communication, University of Copenhagen. She will be speaking on 'Culture, identity and the eco-system of science communication'. The draft programme is now available online and includes a lively mix of practice oriented workshops and research presentations.
Further information about the conference, including the draft programme and registration details can be found on the Science in Public website: http://scienceinpublic.org/sip2015/
