Bibliometrics & Research Management: VIP Knowledge Workshops/Product Reviews.
*****************************************************************
Thomson Reuters would like to invite you to one of their Bibliometrics & Research Management: VIP Knowledge Workshops/Product Reviews.

As research funding becomes more competitive, institutions are getting more strategic about how they support their research talent, identify potential areas for growth and position themselves in the UK and global arena. Bibliometrics is an essential tool in conducting in-depth analyses of your institution's role in research, as well as producing focused snapshots that showcase particular aspects of research performance.

During this session Thomson Reuters will demonstrate how Bibliometric analysis is being used by the research community at strategic levels, and how research organizations are today centralizing their information and processes into enterprise wide systems (Research Information Management Systems).

Aimed at research administrators (Research Office) and strategic planners from university schools, faculties, research centres/institutes and central offices, these sessions include:

* The Web of Science Core Collection data quality. Trust the Data before the metrics.
* The use of Web of Science Core Collection data for research performance measurement: Bibliometric indicators in the Next Generation.
* Integration of bibliometrics in a CRIS, presentation of Web of Science profiles and Converis.
* Live demonstration of Incites: Journal and Highly Cited data, and Benchmark and Analytics.
* Interactive workshop on Incites Next Generation.
