Emerald Group Publishing, global publisher linking research and practice to the benefit of society, has again provided a cash prize to three different American Library Association (ALA) professional recognition and research fund awards. The prizes recognize outstanding contributions and publications and provide research grants to those in the field of librarianship. Emerald has provided recipients of the ALA LITA/LHT award, the Ilene F. Rockman Instruction Publication of the Year Award and the BRASS Emerald Research Grant Award with a cash prize. The names of the winners have been announced by the respective divisions and represent the outstanding achievement displayed by those involved in research and communication in the field of librarianship. The awards will be presented at the ALA annual conference, San Francisco during the 25 – 30 June 2015. The winners are: * David Walker was the recipient of the 2015 LITA/Library Hi Tech Award * Emily Drabinski received the 2015 ACRL Instruction Section Ilene F. Rockman Publication of the Year Award * Jason Dewland, assistant librarian and Cindy Elliott, engineering and innovation librarian, University of Arizona received the BRASS Emerald Research Grant Award Eileen Breen, Publisher at Emerald, said: “It has been our privilege to back the recognition of key individuals over many years and support research in an area which is of particular importance to us. Emerald is also hosting an event in San Francisco for RUSA BRASS members, which we hope will be of great benefit to academic librarians responsible for Business Studies”.
