Description
We are seeking to appoint a Research Fellow to work with Prof. Mariana Mazzucato, Dr. Tommaso Ciarli and Prof. Maria Savona, on the EU funded Horizon2020 Project ISIGrowth – Innovation-fuelled, Sustainable and Inclusive Growth. ISIGrowth will offer a comprehensive diagnostic of the theoretical and empirical relationship between innovation, employment dynamics and growth in an increasingly globalised and financialised world economy (more details on the project below or contacting the project members).
The successful candidate will undertake research in this area, most especially advancing the theory on the relationships between innovation, employment dynamics, financialisation, and growth. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Economics or related area, and relevant research experience. The Research Fellow is expected to work mainly on the modelling of innovation and growth, so we particularly encourage candidates with strong modelling, analytical and quantitative skills
Candidates wishing to discuss details about the project and the post, should contact Prof. Mariana Mazzucato ([log in to unmask]), Dr. Tommaso Ciarli ([log in to unmask]), or Prof. Maria Savona ([log in to unmask]), by email.
