GeoWise are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our development team. Principally we’re looking for someone who is a strong front end developer and has a passion for creating user friendly modern web pages. Your role will be varied but will include:
· Creating custom pages for our InstantAtlas Server customers. This could range from a simple re-branding project to developing new custom functionality
· Assisting the support team with more complex technical support issues
· Liaising with customers on support and project work
· Developing new functionality as part of our InstantAtlas products
· Bug fixing and testing our products

Requirements
In order to fulfil this position you need:
· A degree in a relevant subject
· At least 1 years’ experience in a commercial environment
· Strong time management, prioritization, teamwork and interpersonal skills
· Ability to liaise with customers and understand their requirements
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong design skills
Essential skills
· Excellent HTML / HTML 5
· Excellent JavaScript
· Excellent CSS
· XML / XSLT / JSON / AJAX
· Experience using jQuery or similar
· Developing against REST APIs
Desirable skills
· SQL, databases
· .NET (C#) / ASP.NET
· Responsive design
· GIS / Mapping
· Wordpress / other Content Management Systems
· Interest in data visualization
The Package
